Five Types of Membership:
General Member
Any person currently employed by a judiciary or court related organization. General Members receive full benefits of membership. General Membership is conferred upon submission of an application and payment of annual dues.
Student Member
Any person enrolled full-time in a degree program in the field of court administration, business administration, public administration, law, criminal justice, or other related fields and not presently employed full-time in a court. Student Members receive full benefits of membership, except they cannot hold a position on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board. Student Membership is conferred upon submission of an application, proof of registration in a degree program and payment of annual dues. Annual dues for a Student Member shall be less than the dues for a General Member.
Emeritus Member
Any former General Member of MAACM who chooses to continue as a member in MAACM after retirement or resignation from his/her position with the courts. Emeritus Membership in MAACM must be approved by the Board of Directors. Emeritus Members receive full benefits of membership, except they cannot hold a position on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board. Emeritus Membership is conferred upon submission of an application, payment of annual dues, which shall be the same as General Membership dues and approval by the Board of Directors.
Friend of the Courts
Any person, firm, or corporation, including vendors or consultants, interested in furthering the goals of MAACM. Friends of the Courts receive a reduced rate for all conferences. Friends of the Courts do not have full membership benefits (e.g., they do not have access to the members only area of the MAACM website, they cannot hold a position on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board and they cannot vote on any organizational matter). Friends of the Courts membership is conferred upon submission of an application, payment of annual dues, which shall be the same as General Membership dues, and approval by the Board of Directors.
Dual Member
MAACM has entered into dual membership agreements with the National Association for Court Management (NACM), the Pennsylvania Association for Court Management (PACM) and the Association of Clerks of the District Courts of Virginia (ACDCV). The purpose is to assist court management with their professional development and provide added value to current and future members of NACM, PACM, ACDCV, and MAACM. The respective Boards of Directors of each organization have agreed to the membership discounts outlined below. Members joining or renewing with NACM, PACM, or ACDCV and MAACM will receive a dues discount.

The calendar year and membership year shall be the same for each organization. Jan. 1 through Dec. 31.
Organizational Membership
MAACM is providing this flexible membership option for people who otherwise qualify for general membership. The benefit of general membership can be applied by the organization to up to three of their employees. Membership conferred upon submission of an application and payment of annual dues. The membership is purchased in bulk and the organization will identify the non-interchangeable individuals by name to hold the membership slot through the calendar year. To add more individuals, additional organizational memberships may be purchased.
