Dear MAACM Members and Visitors,
As I begin my year as MAACM President, I am excited to introduce our 2027 theme: Leading from the Core: Strengthening the Foundations of Court Leadership.
Our courts and our profession will continue to change, and we must continue to evolve with them. As we embrace new technologies, new ideas, and new ways of doing business, we must also remain grounded in the fundamentals that make strong leadership possible: effective communication, meaningful relationships, sound decision-making, organizational leadership, employee development, and a continued commitment to public service.
The tools may change, but strong leadership will always matter.
Leading from the Core is about staying connected to the mission, values, and purpose of our courts while navigating change and innovation. Preparing our courts for the future means not only embracing what is next, but also investing in the people who will lead us there.
MAACM provides an important opportunity for court professionals throughout our region to learn from one another, strengthen professional relationships, develop as leaders, and share ideas that improve the administration of justice. I look forward to building upon that work together throughout the coming year.
